20N (1978AJ03)

(Not illustrated)

20N has been observed. It is particle stable: see (1972AJ02). Recent calculations of the atomic mass excess of 20N are 21.67 MeV (1974TH01), 21.60 (1975JE02; transverse form of IMME), 21.88 (1976JA23) and 22.2 MeV (1977WA08). Assuming that the atomic mass excess is 22.0 MeV, 20N is then stable with respect to 19N + n by 1.9 MeV (see 19N). See also (1972TH13, 1973TO16, 1975VO09, 1976WA18, 1977AR06, 1977BH1B) and (1973WI15, 1975BE31; theor.).
