
^{19}N (1978AJ03)(See the Isobar Diagram for ^{19}N) A study of the ^{18}O(^{18}O, ^{17}F)^{19}N reaction with E(^{18}O) = 91 MeV leads to a mass excess for ^{19}N of 15.81 ± 0.09 MeV: at θ=10°, dσ/dΩ_{cm}=100 nb/sr (1977DE14). ^{19}N is then stable with respect to breakup into ^{18}N + n by 5.5 MeV. Another report of the mass excess of ^{19}N gives 15.96 ± 0.15 MeV (1977BA3V; abstract). A previous report by (1974GU19) of the formation of ^{19}N in ^{10}Be(^{11}B, 2p) and of its subsequent βdecay is incorrect: see (1976FI03).
