14Li (1991AJ01)

(Not illustrated)

14Li has not been observed. The calculated mass excess is 72.29 MeV: see (1981AJ01). 14Li is then particle unstable with respect to decay into 13Li + n and 12Li + 2n by 3.9 and 3.2 MeV, respectively [see, however, 13Li]. (1985PO10) calculate [in a (0 + 1)ℏω model space] that the first four states of 14Li at 0, 0.75, 1.22 and 1.48 MeV have, respectively, Jπ = 2-, 4-, 3- and 1-. See also (1986AL09, 1989OG1B) and (1988POZS; theor.).
